Terms of Service

Last updated: January 2025

1. About Us

VisaBridge Law is a law firm regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (Portfolio Demonstration — Not a Real Law Firm). Our services are governed by the SRA Standards and Regulations. By engaging our services, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Our Services

We provide specialist UK immigration legal advice and representation. Our services are available to individuals, families, and businesses. The scope of our advice will be set out in our engagement letter (client care letter) provided at the start of each instruction.

3. Fees and Payment

Our fees are set out in the client care letter provided at the commencement of your matter. We offer fixed-fee pricing for most immigration services. All fees are exclusive of VAT (applied at the prevailing rate) and disbursements (e.g., Home Office fees, document translation). Payment is due in accordance with the schedule set out in your engagement letter.

4. Client Obligations

You agree to provide us with complete, accurate, and up-to-date information relevant to your matter. We cannot be held responsible for adverse outcomes resulting from information that is incorrect, incomplete, or provided late. You agree to respond promptly to our requests for information and documentation.

5. Confidentiality

All communications and documents shared with us are treated as strictly confidential. We maintain professional privilege over legal advice provided to you. We may be required to disclose information in limited circumstances, such as to comply with anti-money laundering regulations or court orders.

6. Limitation of Liability

Our liability to you is limited to the professional indemnity insurance we are required to maintain as an SRA-regulated firm. We are not liable for any consequential, indirect, or special losses. Our advice relates to the law as it stands at the time of instruction; we cannot guarantee outcomes determined by government decision-makers.

7. Complaints

We are committed to providing an excellent service. If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, please contact us in the first instance. We have an internal complaints procedure and will provide you with a copy on request. If your complaint is not resolved to your satisfaction, you may refer the matter to the Legal Ombudsman.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you have any questions about these Terms, please contact us at demo@visabridgelaw.co.uk.
