How It Works

The Application Process

A step-by-step guide to your Spouse Visa application, managed by our specialist solicitors from start to finish.

  1. 1

    Relationship & Financial Assessment

    2-3 days

We review your relationship history, financial documents, and sponsorship eligibility to identify the strongest evidence strategy for your application.

  2. 2

    Evidence Compilation

    2-4 weeks

We provide a detailed relationship evidence checklist and advise on the quality and quantity of evidence needed to demonstrate a genuine, subsisting relationship.

  3. 3

    Financial Evidence Review

    3-5 days

We meticulously review all financial evidence — payslips, P60s, employer letters, bank statements — to ensure the income requirement is met or exceeded.

  4. 4

    Application Submission

    2-3 days

We complete the application form with a detailed cover letter narrating the relationship history and addressing any potentially sensitive aspects of your case.

  5. 5

    Biometric Appointment

    1-3 weeks

We advise the applicant overseas on attending their Visa Application Centre appointment and what to expect during the process.

  6. 6

    Decision & Settlement Planning

    12-24 weeks

On approval, we confirm your initial 30-month leave conditions and plan your path to further leave to remain and eventual ILR.
