About the Graduate Route
The Graduate Route Visa allows international students who have successfully completed an eligible UK degree to remain in the UK for 2 years (3 years for PhD graduates) to work or look for work in any occupation. There is no minimum salary requirement and no job offer needed — it is the perfect bridge between study and a long-term UK career..
Eligibility Criteria
- You have successfully completed a bachelor's, master's, or PhD (or other doctoral degree) at a licensed UK higher education provider
- Your institution holds a track record compliance rating with the Home Office
- You are currently in the UK with valid leave as a Student Visa holder
- You have not previously been granted leave under the Graduate Route
- You meet the suitability requirements (no serious criminal convictions or immigration breaches)
- PhD graduates qualify for 3 years; all other degree graduates qualify for 2 years
